The Commissioner of Taxation issued an alert on 17 March 2023, informing the public of the commencement of the first stage of the new platform Tax For ALL (TFA), on 27 March 2023.

Through its alert, the Commissioner informs the public that from 27 March 2023, all tax liabilities related to VAT will be processed only via TFA.

For the convenience of users at this transitional stage, the Tax Department gave an extension to the deadline of submission of VAT Returns as follows:

• For the period 01/12/2022 – 28/02/2023 the deadline is extended from 10 April 2023 to 26 April 2023.
• For the period 01/01/2023 – 31/03/2023 the deadline is extended from 10 May 2023 to 26 May 2023.

The VAT module of TAXISnet will be available only for preview until 27 March 2023 (for Direct Tax the TAXISnet platform is operating as usual).
