In accordance with the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) recommendation, the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) encourages all legal entities involved in financial transactions, under the HCMC’s supervisory competence and that have not been required to have a LEI to obtain and maintain a LEI.

The Hellenic Capital Market Commission also requests supervised entities to identify themselves and the legal entities referred to through a LEI when submitting their financial reports.
