Webinar Overview
The European Green Deal is the EU´s plan to make the EU’s economy sustainable and become climate neutral in 2050. This goal is to be achieved by turning climate and environmental challenges into opportunities and making the transition fair and inclusive for all. The EU will provide financial support and technical assistance in the process of transition. The initiative will mobilize at least €100 billion over the period 2021-2027.
The EU has also proposed a European Climate Law to turn this political commitment into a legal obligation.
